We are The Kingdom. Do we act like it?

Jesus and me in the repair shop as he restores this classic 1969 model.

Heavenly father, Hallowed be your name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive others who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one, for Thine is the Kingdom for ever and ever! Amen. Thank you, Father, that you provided The Way, The Truth, and The Life that not only made this statement but fulfilled it! Thank you, Jesus! HALLELUJAH Amen.

Too many of us approach prayer as a specific time of the week to get clean, then drop to our knees, hands folded and proceed to beg for that which was already given. Instead of approaching it from “The Truth” that we are the “Kingdom of God”, Fully Equipped with every Good and Perfect thing to Multiply the Kingdom, our Kingdom, of God. This is the difference between knowing Him and Knowing of Him. There are times for being prostrate before God, Jesus showed us that in the garden of Gethsemane. There are times to Worship, Jesus showed that when he walked into his Father’s house that had been turned into a den of thieves. There are times to just walk and talk with your friend, Jesus constantly showed us that example. This is the most prominent example, Jesus going off to pray by himself OR taking a Walk with his Friend in the Garden. It’s not about a schedule, you can talk with Him anywhere, anytime. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, think of all that implies. Not only was he made of but, after coming out of the water, the “Heavens opened and the Holy Spirit descended like a Dove and rested on Him”, or lighted on him, either way it was a display for all to behold to ensure there is no doubt as to who he is. “Behold, I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation, a tried stone, a Precious Cornerstone, a sure Foundation” (Isaiah 28:16). Zion is the representation of Gods Kingdom. John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit while still in the womb. He had been given power (The Holy Spirit) to be a Child of God (Gods Kingdom, an Heir). When he said “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is Near”, he (John, being filled with the Promise of God, the Holy Spirit, a Pledge to our inheritance) was/is the Kingdom of God that was near. He did not say “repent of sin”. The repentance he was referring to was “belief”. “But I tell you the Truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin, and Righteousness, and judgement; concerning sin, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT BELEIVE IN ME (not because they killed, coveted, etc., because they did not believe He (Jesus) is the Christ sent by God, our only Salvation); and concerning Righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you no longer behold me (“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed” John 20;29, which he made sure I had Faith, His Faith); and concerning Judgement, because the ruler of this world has been Judged (Giving me Authority in and through Christ Jesus, delivering me from the evil one)”. We are not Saved by Grace through faith till we can do it on our own. We are Saved from the beginning through Eternity in Christ, in Grace through Faith, which God sowed a measure of Faith according to His own Purpose (believing in and receiving His Son, I would think, is 1st and foremost, then comes the overflow) while in the womb. “For it is by Grace you have been saved, through Faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast.” Eph. 2:8-9 The will of the Father according to Jesus is “For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and BELIEVES in Him, may have Eternal Life and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.” John 6:40 In Mathew 7:21-23 Jesus refers to those who say they know Him but do not truly Believe and tried to argue their works. Remember Jesus told the disciples not to be excited that you cast out devils and healed the sick but that your name is written in the book of Life! An Heir to and In the Kingdom of God. I am forever Thankful that through Christ Jesus I AM “Fruitful” and have relationship with my Father. As Jesus is SEALED in me with the Holy Spirit of Promise, I have my Bread Daily and am fully Equipped to “Multiply” Gods (and my, through Christ and my pledge of inheritance) Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven! Through being Loved 1st we have been shown how to Love, “as he has Loved us”, fulfilling the words “As he is, so are we on this earth”! When we remove “self” and “Love others as He has Loved us”; I look out for you, you look out for Bob, Bob looks out for me, we all are “fruitful” in our relationship with the Father through the Son, Heaven on Earth, no? “But God, being rich in Mercy, because of HIS GREAT LOVE with which He Loved US”, “and Raised US up with Him and SEATED us with Him in the Heavenly Places in Christ”. Whether it be in Heaven or on Earth, WE, you and I, are Connected in and through Christ Jesus and WE are the KINGDOM of GOD. I leave you with Jesus’ prayer to the Father; “I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in me through their word (testimony/mirroring Christ); THAT THEY MAY ALL BE ONE; even as Thou, Father, art in me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in US; that the world may BELIEVE that Thou didst send Me”. “And the Glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be ONE, just AS WE ARE ONE; I AM in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be PERFECTED in UNITY, that the world may know that Thou didst send me, and didst LOVE THEM, even as Thou didst LOVE ME”. We know from Lazarus He didn’t need to speak this out loud, he did it so you and I would hear Him and Believe/Trust that we have the right, through Him, to be children of God and Love others as He has LOVED US, Heirs to His Kingdom!

It’s not about a checklist and behavior modification. It’s about being “Fruitful”, walking in the garden with my Friend as He refines me to his image in Truth, Blessing me to “Multiply” the Kingdom! God Bless you and your House, being a part of The Kingdom of God. In Jesus Name you are Fully Equipped to Love others as He has Loved You and Multiply the Kingdom. Be FRUITFUL in Jesus Name! Amen.
